Acceptable use
Last updated October 2026. Saycut is in early access; these pages will be updated before paid accounts open.
Saycut makes videos from recordings people make of themselves. To keep it that way, you may not use Saycut to:
- Upload recordings of other people without their permission, or content you don't have the rights to use.
- Impersonate someone, or make a video that pretends to be from a real person or organisation it isn't from.
- Make content that harasses, threatens or targets a private individual.
- Make sexual content involving minors, or any content that is illegal where you or your viewers are.
- Spread content designed to deceive viewers about facts in ways that could cause harm, such as fake evidence or fabricated quotes presented as real.
- Try to break, overload or copy the service, or get around its limits.
We may refuse a video, pause a project or close an account that breaks these rules. To report misuse, email hello@saycut.example.
